Cloud Migration

With the emergence of the Cloud, Vital Computing are finding that more and more of our clients are looking at moving their services offsite. The benefits of having services in the Cloud are overwhelming and we have found that once our clients try running one Cloud service they then come back looking for more.

We started off by migrating most of our clients to Microsoft Exchange Online and all of these clients have found this to be a rewarding experience on many fronts. Their email is now more accessible on the move and on multiple devices. They are less susceptible to viruses, spam and blacklisting while maintaining all the features they enjoyed with their local Exchange server. For this reason, we now find many of them coming back to us to see what other services they can move up to the Cloud.

We now look to Windows Azure to provide more Cloud services to these clients and in a lot of cases we can use Azure Server to completely replace locally based fileservers.
